Internationally renowned Andrea Bocelli returns with a breathtaking new album, Believe, celebrating the power of music to soothe the soul. It follows his record-breaking “Music for Hope” performance at Easter from the historic Duomo cathedral in Milan which was watched live by millions around the globe. It features a previously unreleased track from the late, great Italian composer Ennio Morricone, as well as favourites such as Hallelujah, You’ll Never Walk Alone and Amazing Grace.
The magical Carnival album on CD features specially commissioned illustrated artwork and includes a note from the Kanneh-Mason family. It’s a very special collaboration between Academy Award-winning actor Olivia Colman, children’s author Michael Morpurgo and the seven extraordinarily talented Kanneh-Mason siblings. Recorded at London’s Abbey Road Studios, the release includes new poems written by War Horse author Morpurgo to accompany French composer Saint-Saëns’ beloved musical suite, Carnival of the Animals. The poems are read by the author himself, joined by The Favourite actor Colman, with guest musicians completing the ensemble.
And for a beautiful soundtrack of hymns and texts for mindfulness and meditation is the Poor Clare Sisters Arundel A Light for the World.
All CDs are £10.99 and are available now at Decca Records shop.
