Preparation Time: 5min
Cooking Time: 15min
Makes: 400g (2 jam jars full)
  • 300g fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 100g pomegranate seeds
  • Grated zest and juice 1 orange
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 50g soft brown sugar
  • 2tbsp pomegranate molasses
  1. Place all the ingredients in a saucepan with a good pinch of salt and bring to the boil. Simmer on a low heat for 10–15min until the berries have burst and the sauce has thickened.
  2. Remove the cinnamon stick and spoon into clean jars. Leave to cool. Seal the tops and store in the fridge for up to 7 days.
  3. Please note, as there is not much sugar in the sauce it won’t store as a preserve.
